Patience : For Sale, December 2019
Patience aroused my curiousity when she popped up for sale on the Wooden Ships brokerage website. Not having heard of the boat before I wondered if she was one of the six Saxon Class boats built by Priors in 1961 that I do know of. They are De Drie Gegboeders, Margreta (Became Thyella, Orn), Maxine, Mijbil, Pennyroyal and Seacwen. I now know (December 2019) that she was up until at least 1985 known as De Drie Gegboeders.
A few other Saxon Class boats are to be found on this website including Strider, She (ex Cervantes), Roma of Rhu, Sael (ex Gay Chance), Reina Cristina and Manduvi .
