Karlie is the eighth of Alan Buchanan's steel hulled boats built to his Brabant design on this website. Her name may not, in fact, be Karlie there being potential for translation confusion involving the name of the owner's dog; Clarity is being sought ! My suspicion is that she is Keren built in 1961 by Stebbings & Son.
The eight Brabants are; Facet, Pipedream, Vuilbaard, Roosevaer, Halve Maen, Brave Heart, Suri., and Karlie. Prior to the current owner, this boat was called Quo Vadis. She was completely restored between 2016 and 2019.
