Col Reginald Bastard

The Waterbug owned by a hero of World War I
Whimsical was owned by Col Reginald Bastard (pictured), a surviver with an extraordinary story from the Battle of the Somme. (Easily found via Google).  Purchased in Reginald's retirement, I have traced Whimsical in the Lloyd's Registers between 1954 and 1965 after which she is not listed. She's one of the sixteen Upham's Waterbugs that we know existed, but have scant information on. If you can help fill in her story, please get in touch.
