Wandering Star

Wandering Star : For Sale, January 2020
Steel built Wandering Star is to Mauice Griffiths' somewhat obscure Seareach design. This has many similarities to the better known and popular Golden Hind 31 design. Her current owner reports in an eBay listing that he bought her on a whim a year ago, but has since had a year of expensive storage costs and no sailing. Determined to sell her this (third) time round, the auction has no reserve. Possibly, depending how the bidding goes, a bargain is to be had.
It was the current owner who named her Wandering Star. Previously she was called Kailua and kept in Bristol. The only other boats built to the Seareach design that I've come across were called Providence and Chapman Light owned by P Davis in 2009 on Canvey Island.
