Sanchia : First of the 13 ton Hillyards
Sanchia is the first of the 13 tonners , designed by Dennis Cullingford and build by Hillyards of Littlehampton. This design was based on the 12 tonner but with more space. Sanchia's just changed hands with an asking price of £34,500. The price reflects the fact that Guy Smith maintained her in good condition and undertook several voyages in her that proved her to be a most capable sea boat.
