Quest

Quest : An Insurance Write-Off, Resurrected
Quest was badly fire-damaged in 2010 when a motor-boat alongside in Fareham harbour caught fire. Although written off by the insurers, Michael Ashby courageously stepped in, buying the wreck off Sue Pendar. The story of the subsequent restoration is to be found in Issue 66 of the HOA's magazine, May 2012, available online via the link below.
Michael has since sold Quest, now with an enthusiastic new owner, Alexander Jahn, in North Germany.
Originally named Moby Dick, she has been called Quest since before 1934.
