In July 2016, Thomas Simmons wrote; “I am a filmmaker working on a feature length documentary about American skipper, Mike Plant. Before finding his calling in single-handed ocean racing, Mike owned a 1931 Hillyard ketch called Missel Thrush. He purchased her in Spetses, Greece in 1973, then offering her at times as a charter for hire”
Thomas is after any home video that the owners of similar boats may have shot.
