Greylag in Venice 2015

Greylag to explore the Adriatic
This super photograph of Greylag was taken in early June 2015 by Paul Leinthall-Cowman. He tells me that “It was taken in a quiet little boatyard just off the lagoon near the Venice Lido”.
Since October 2014, Greylag has been owned by Nicola Boglione, who lives in Venice. Previously, Greylag was one of the Solent boats, stationed on the river Hamble.
I've looked up Greylag in my collection of Lloyd's registers: She's previously been owned by Doctors, a Major and a Colonel. No pressure, Nicola !
Originally called Solo, by 1947 she'd been renamed Greylag.
She's in very good condition, not least thanks to a major refit at Universal Boatyard, Hamble 2006 - 2007.
