The Hong Kong Corinthian Yacht Club, 1908
In June 1910 it was replaced with a grander clubhouse.
The Hong Kong Boats
Erin was one of four boats built in Hong Kong to Harrison Butler's Hong Kong design of 1909. In the absence of any photograph of Erin, I've added this splendid image of the Hong Kong Corinthian Yacht Club, to which Erin's first custodian, GW Pennyfather, belonged. By the mid 1930s it is believed that Erin had been lost, possibly, like her sister ship, Mist, in one of the typoons of the early 1930s.
