 Englyn I

Weather Beaten and Broken
It is with a heavy heart that I have received word of the dire condition of Englyn I. She is ashore near Oldcourt on the river Ilen which runs into Baltimore Harbour, Ireland. The good news is that her current owner, Liam Hegarty, is a professional boat builder with his own boat yard and an impressive reputation for bringing boats back from the dead. Even so, the above recent photograph of Englyn I by W M Nixon shows that a total rebuild may be necessary.
