Dionysus : Small Steel Boat That Circumnavigated The Globe
Dionysus was built over a six year period between 1975 and 1982 by husband and wife team, Peter Balding and Helane Paizes. They then, with there son Dyon, sailed her around the globe via the Suez and Panama Canals, selling her once done in 1987. Dionysus recently changed hands (May 2018) in Barcelona, Spain.
