Cloud II : Project Looking for New Owner, October 2024
This is quite remarkable; a large wooden boat under construction in 2024 to a 1912 design by Albert Strange. She's actually been progressing steadily at the International Boatbuilding Training College in Lowestoft (IBTC) for several years. At the college, courses on traditional boatbuilding and joinery are available; a most interesting place. Cloud II was originally offered at a price of £35,000. However, she's currently (October 2024) being advertised on the Apollo Duck website for £12,000. It sounds like an opportunity for the right person to me.
