Brancaleon

Brancaleon : Italian Job
Brancaleon was Italian built at the Craglietto boatyard in Trieste in 1965. Alan Buchanan visited this yard, run then by Olin Stephens, on several occasions. They had high quality wood available, taken from old large sailing ships, and it's likely that Brancaleon has this in her hull. She was for sale in 2012, still with her original BMC Commodore engine from 1964. As the above photograph from that time shows, she had been well looked after and was in good condition for her age.
